What is HOT YOGA

Yes, We have Showers

We have showers to use after this great workout

Hot Yoga is Hatha yoga,   consisting of a challenging  and   exhilarating series of  asanas (yoga postures) performed in a heated room.  The room is intentionally heated to warm up your entire body which will allow you to work deeper into your muscles, tendons and ligaments. The postures work together to warm up the muscles and joints for each successive posture of the series, challenging and cleansing the whole body.  This yoga practice systematically moves fresh, oxygenated blood to one hundred percent of your body, to each organ and fiber, restoring all systems to healthy working order.  All internal organs and glands are stimulated, re-balancing the body's natural chemical and hormone levels. The heat also heals and helps prevent injuries.  It also promotes sweating which flushes toxins from your body.  Proper weight, muscle tone, vibrant good health, and a sense of well-being will naturally result from a regular practice.

Hot Yoga is designed for all levels: first time students and experienced practitioners alike.  No matter what your level of you will find a Hot Yoga fitness, class very rewarding.  Each posture combines flexibility, strength, and balance.

Inflexibility is the most common misconception that prevents people   from coming to a yoga  class.   But yoga is not only about flexibility.  It is about healing, opening and strengthening your body in all directions.  What matters is that you make an effort, go to your personal "edge," and obtain 100% of the benefit!Young kid doing yoga
